EQ901 Elite Features
The EQ901 Elite Series features four specifically designed equalization curve sets unique to each Series I/II, III/IV or V/VI (select your series when ordering)
Precise 901 equalization is performed digitally in an Analog Devices 400MHz SHARC DSP processor with 24 bit resolution
Two identical stereo pairs outputs are available allowing for dual active stereo systems (two stereo power amps) or the addition of an active subwoofer(s)
IR Remote selectable tone mode settings:
1. Normal mode
2. Enhanced mode
3. Warm mode
4. Low frequency reduction mode
Ultra low distortion 2 Vrms output driver stage
Selectable input sensitivity of 2 VRMS or 4 VRMS

Hardware Installation
When audio input and output connections are being made, be sure that all associated equipment is powered off. When you power the EQ901 Elite on and off be sure that associated equipment is off first. Connect power to the EQ901 Elite before turning associated equipment on.
Remote Control Functions
Tone modes are selected on the remote control:
1. Normal mode
2. Enhanced mode
3. Warm mode
4. Low frequency reduction

Selecting Tonal Characteristics Modes
Selection of the tone mode is generally a subjective choice based on what sounds best to you. Specifically: Normal mode is the most neutral, Enhanced mode provides a richer sound with more treble and bass, Warm mode adds midrange with slight treble reduction, and Low frequency reduction mode is intended to control bass in smaller rooms or on boomy recordings .

Analog Input Level
The analog audio input levels are switchable between 2 and 4 Vrms to accommodate use with most equipment. The EQ901 Eite is shipped with the analog input level set to 2 Vrms. The only user-accessible jumpers are used to set the analog input sensitivity. The jumpers are located on the internal PC board near the RCA input jacks.
