Overview
The EQ802BAL-II is a high performance equalizer for BOSE 802 Series II ® speakers. The EQ802BAL-II has been designed with the factory equalization curve recommended for the BOSE 802 Series II and also an enhanced EQ curve offering greater frequency extension and dynamic range.
The EQ802BAL-II is based on the miniDSP Balanced 2x4. It’s a full active balanced design with selectable 2 Vrms or 4 Vrms inputs and outputs. The EQ802BAL-II is compatible with professional equipment using XLR connectors or phone jack and also systems using unbalanced RCA connections.

Audio inputs and outputs
Input connections are made to Phoenix terminal blocks on the front panel of the EQ802BAL-II, and output connections to Phoenix terminal blocks on the rear panel. The Phoenix terminal blocks are the cable ends for user supplied XLR, Phone or RCA connections. You can use a mixture of balanced and unbalanced connections.
Selecting an equalization curve
The EQ802BAL-II is supplied with two equalization curves. The factory EQ curve is provided on outputs 1 and 2. The enhanced EQ curve is provided on outputs 3 and 4.
