The miniDSP SHD is a state of the art, high fidelity preamplifier that provides digital and analog performance on par with today's highest performing amplifiers and speakers.  

The SHD combines high-definition streaming, Dirac Live processing and digital multi-channel crossovers and filtering. Key features include:

Dirac Live calibration uses the miniDSP UMIK microphone (sold separately) and Dirac’s easy-to-use calibration tool to provide world class room tuning.

The miniDSP SHD is a certified Roon Ready network player.  Roon’s high-resolution streaming technology is built into the SHD, and combines simple setup, daily reliability and the highest levels of digital audio performance.

The SHD’s powerful but user-friendly DSP audio tuning software provides 10-band parametric EQ per channel, crossovers up to 48dB/octave, compressor / limiter and a 2x4 matrix mixer. The system allows for powerful audio system tuning in applications ranging from integrating a single subwoofer to a two-way active speaker.  The miniDSP SHD includes Device Console application software with perpetual updates.

Volumio network streaming provides access to music files from many sources including USB drives, NAS (network area storage devices), Roon, TIDAL, Spotify, JRiver, internet radio and more.

Three digital inputs and USB audio enable the SHD to fit into any modern audio system, while processed outputs are available as four-channel unbalanced and balanced analog and digital.

Warranty Terms

This product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from invoice. Warranty does not cover failure of the product due to incorrect connection or installation, improper or undocumented use, unauthorized servicing, modification or alteration of the unit in any way, or any usage outside of that recommended in the product manual. The customer provides return shipping to Deer Creek Audio. Deer Creek Audio is an authorized miniDSP dealer.
